As a professional organizer, I come in to correct the chaos in your life by cleaning out the clutter, teaching you new systems, putting a stop to the accumulating habit, and maybe even digging out the emotional roots of your disorganization. |
Most important to both of us: You should NOT expect to feel judged or criticized. I'm doing this work so I can help you feel BETTER about your environment and your life. We'll begin wherever you feel most comfortable beginning, whether it's in the worst room (let's dive right in!) or in the best room (show me what I already know: you DO have it in you to be organized and peaceful in your surroundings!) We'll talk about what's important to you, what bothers you, and what you want to address first. I'll listen, ask questions, and then give you my recommendations. I'll let you know how long your project will take, and once we start you will never lose control over any of your belongings. I'll tell you exactly what will happen with each item: whether you decide to keep it—we'll create a "home" for it— or eliminate it—we'll decide whether to consign it, donate it, or recycle it. What does it cost? What is your peace of mind, your organized life, your cooperative kids, and your beautiful home worth? One room is usually transformed in usually less than a day for $50 an hour. At the end of a project, you can expect to have

"Clutter holds people to the past: ‘I have to hold on to this because it was my mother's.' ‘I spent a lot of money on it.' Or, ‘I have to have all this stuff because I may need it in the future.' Clutter actually stops people from living now and can prevent them from interacting with and enjoying their family." —Peter Walsh of TLC's Clean
