Because this profession requires a complete knowledge of organizing products and services and, of course, excellent organizational skills, many professional organizers were once corporate managers, counselors, teachers. I refined my organizational skills during my years as a journalist, where a single misplaced item or piece of information could mean the difference between meeting or missing deadlines!
